Katie and Jessica first met in Grade one and have been inseparable ever since. Their friendship grew over their shared love of Harry Potter growing up, with at least one of their moms always making sure they were at book or movie releases, at midnight, on a school night. When Jess first got engaged, Katie was one of the first people she told!
Brady Fetch

Brady and Dave have been friends since Kindergarten. From the playgrounds of St. Anne's, to growing up together playing hockey and their love of fishing and outdoors, they have remained best friends after all these years! Brady was one of the first to know that Dave planned on proposing to Jess during their trip to Jasper!
Asja Marchand
Bridesmaid
Asja and Jess first met in High school, with Asja being one year younger. Their friendship truly blossomed after high school during University and Archaeology classes. A year spent studying and adventuring the campus, Asja and Jess remained close even after Jess left university to pursue other options. They still spend most holidays together with 'The Fam'.
Nathan Postle
Groomsman
Nathan and Dave also grew up together as part of the St. Anne's Crew. Many years representing the West Hill Sharks and numerous trips to the areas fishing spots have keep them best friends since the beginning. To this day you can still find Nathan and Dave singing to the Beatles and old Classic Rock together at house parties. Nathan was also one of the first to know that Dave was planning on popping the question.(He was more excited that Darcie!.......Not quite but close haha)
Alanna MacInyte

Jess met Alanna at work, but they became friends when Alanna moved into the house Jess was living in. Their love of all things crafty led to many nights sitting on the couch with too much string or paper around to tell whose craft was whose. Jess happily stood by Alanna as MOH at her wedding in 2019.
Ryan MacAuley

Ryan is Dave's little and only brother. Dave was only 7 years old when Ryan (and Amy) was born and quickly had to adapt to the big brother role. Even though their interests are on the complete opposite sides of the spectrum (Dave: Sports & Outdoors) (Ryan: Theater Arts & Politics) they remain close to this day!
Kaylie Dumais
Bridesmaid
Kaylie and Jess lived together for a while, and became very close during the year that followed. Kaylie and Jess spent many nights eating takeout in forts in the living room, enjoying beers and tanning on the deck in the summer. Kaylie was the first person who knew that Jess and Dave were a 'thing', and has been beside them supporting them through the entire relationship.
Dawson MacAuley

Dawson is Dave's cousin and potentially one of his very first Best Friends. With less than 2 months separating their birthdays, you could say they've known each other literally from day 1! From building cardboard forts at the family cabin at Candle Lake to their love of hockey, you couldn't go anywhere without seeing them together. Even though Dawson moved away to Regina for school a few years ago, they still meet up as much as they can to visit and catch up, not missing a beat!
