Question

What is the plan for the wedding due to the pandemic?

Answer

The world, at time of writing is currently blowing up. This is as unexpected as it gets and we are trying to just roll with it. Dave and Jess will get married on the original date in a private backyard ceremony, but don't worry, we arent skipping out on all the fun stuff. We were super lucky that all of our vendors were available next year on August 14th, 2021. This will be our new date, and we will go through the whole deal so no one has to miss anything. We are super grateful for all the support and love that our familes and guests have shown us, and we can't wait to party with you all next year!!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that you RSVP no later than June 8th so we are able to work on seating, food, and liquor. However, if something changes and you are able to, or no longer able to attend we ask that you let us know no later than July 8th so we are able to make arrangements. Any RSVP's Not received by July 20th will be considered an automatic no, but we will try and contact you before then if we have not heard anything from you!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We haven't registered at any stores, we already have lots of things as we have lived together for a while now. We do understand weddings and travel can be expensive so all we ask for is your presence. If you still wish to gift us something, a contribution to our honeymoon/starting a family, or gift cards to Rona/Home Depot to assist with home renovations would be greatly appreciated.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you receive an invitation that includes, "and Guest" you are more than welcome to bring a date. If your invitation states only your name, we would prefer if it was just you that attended.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your children, we would prefer that you are able to enjoy a night away from the kids to relax. If you would really like to bring your children, they are more than welcome and we will be setting a room up off to the side where they can play and enjoy some snacks, but please let us know if they are coming so we can make proper arrangements.

Question

Who should I contact if I have any questions on the day of the wedding?

Answer

We have provided a schedule, maps and suggestions for things to do around the day of the wedding. If you have a question that you NEED answered on the day of the wedding, we suggest you do not ask the wedding party as they may not be able to reply. Our families will be well versed in all that is going on and we recommend you contact them first, but please remember that it is a special day for them as well and you may find difficulty getting in contact with someone.
