Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) SRQ is adjacent to the New College campus, making it by far the most convenient airport when traveling to the Charles Ringling Mansion. Tampa International Airport (TPA) Many choose to fly into Tampa as a wider variety of airlines fly into TPA and schedules are more flexible. TPA is located 55 miles north and is a little over an hour’s drive.
On average, April weather is comfortable with average high temperatures in the low to mid 80s and average low temperatures in the mid 60s. Rain is unlikely, as April is part of Florida's dry season, but the venue does offer an indoor option in the event of rain.
Requested attire is Garden Formal. For men a tailored suit and evening gowns for the ladies (avoid white). We look forward to seeing everyone looking their best!
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
Unfortunately we cannot accommodate any additional guests outside of those denoted on the invitation.
We are requesting a phone-less ceremony. We will have a professional photographer and videographer to capture the intimate moments of the ceremony, and we want our guests to be present in the moment. Outside of the ceremony, phones are welcome and we encourage guests to take as many pictures as they please. We will also have Polaroid cameras located throughout the venue for guests to take pictures for our Guest Book!
