This is an incredible museum that Mac and Brooke love exploring! There are some of amazing exhibitions that we really enjoy.
Museum of Art
This is a beautiful art museum in the middle of City Park. This art institution is home to many incredible exhibitions for those art lovers out there. City Park is also a beautiful place to take a stroll and enjoy the New Orleans oak trees.
Audubon Zoo
Have fun exploring this zoo and the beautiful surrounding park. Pro tip: bring some bread to feed the ducks
Shop & Stroll on Magazine Street
There are lots of fun shops and food spots on this street that Mac and Brooke love!
Jazz on Frenchmen's Street
Enjoy some live jazz music along Frenchman's Street! Mac and Brooke's first trip to Frenchman's street included a stop at Bamboula's.
Cafe Du Monde French Market
Classic beignets that are a popular french cajun treat. Cafe Du Monde is an old french market that serves these delicious fried pastries made with pâte à choux and topped with confectioners sugar. A perfect pairing is the café au lai.
Commander's Palace
Standing tall in its stunning blue, Commander's Palace is an incredible experience that highlights New Orleans cuisine and tradition. Mac and Brooke love this restaurant as it has become more of a home to the couple. Brooke's favorite dish is the Quail entree and Mac's favorite dish is the strawberry shortcake dessert.
Arnaud's
This is an old New Orleans restaurant with classic Creole cuisine. Attached is the fun French 75 Bar that is a great place for cocktails. For a similar old New Orleans restaurant feel, we also recommend Galatoire's Restaurant. Please note that both restaurants are formal attire and reservations are highly recommended.
Joey K's Restaurant & Bar
This is a great casual New Orleans restaurant serving red beans and rice, catfish, and po'boys along Magazine Street. Brooke grew up going to this restaurant for a quick bite to eat in the neighborhood.
Dinner on the Lakefront - Blue Crab or Landry's Restaurant
Mac and Brooke love eating classic New Orleans cuisine while sitting outside and enjoying the view. Both the Blue Crab Restaurant and Landry's Seafood House are a fun experience.

This is a sweet French Quarter restaurant and bar with a cute courtyard and great cocktails. This is a great vibe and close to the hustle and bustle of Jackson Square.

This is a fun and lively New Orleans bar with a dueling piano room and cute courtyard.
