What should I wear?

Casual Beach Wedding. As we Minnesotans like to say, 'Layers, layers, layers!' Lake Superior has crazy temperature swings. Bring a coat even if it is scheduled to be a 90 degree day! Once that sun goes away, especially if there is a breeze coming off of the lake, (which maintains a 40 degree year round temp) it could easily swoop down to feel like 50 degrees. With the wedding being on a beach, people are very welcome to wear swimsuits under whatever it is you wear. You could even arrive early and have a beach day in the sun prior to our evening wedding (you just wouldn't have access to the beach building until 3pm). We might have beach volleyball or something similar set up, so bring something you can sweat in if you'd like to participate! I love dressing up, so please, we welcome you to wear something glamorous or whatever it is you want. We prefer people to have fun with it and to also feel comfortable.

I agreed to help set up or tear down. What time can we access the inside of the Beach House?

Answer

We have access to the building starting at 3PM. We have to be out of the building by 11PM so tear down will start at 10PM.
