Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please wear your favorite floral inspired outfits! Women should wear a midi, ankle, or floor length dress. Men should wear a suit (can be linen) with an optional tie. Check out my Pinterest Board (https://pin.it/15x9rG3gw) for inspiration. Please note that the wedding venue will include walking on some grass and gravel.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will be two coach-sized buses transporting guests from downtown Charlottesville to the Market at Grelen and back. The Charlottesville departure point and times will be made available as the wedding date approaches.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is on-site parking for those driving to the venue.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will both be outdoors. The cocktail hour, in particular, will be fully shaded. The reception will be a few steps away inside the Market at Grelen's tent.

What is the closest airport?

Answer

Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport is located 20 minutes away by car, but with limited flight routes available. We recommend you also consider Richmond International Airport - a 1 hour and 30-minute drive. For international arrivals, we recommend Washington-Dulles International Airport - a 2 hour drive.
