Our wedding colors if you wish to coordinate with us. Family: please reference if you will be in photos! :)
Question

How to book for the Laber wedding?

Answer

Accommodations and transport may be booked here: https://lyvlaughlaber.destify.com/resort/#packages

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Wear linen or dress pants, short-sleeved or long-sleeved button downs, and dress shoes. Suit jackets are not required. Mid or maxi dresses, and sandals. Please keep in mind we prefer to be formal regardless of ceremony being on the beach.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately, as much as we’d love to invite all of our family and friends’ children, we can only accommodate children of our immediate family on our special day.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

You are welcome (of course) to bring whoever you'd like to Costa Rica, as far as our wedding goes, we'd like to try and keep the wedding to those who were on the invitation due to budget. As we get closer, this may change.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

November is the tail end of rainy season in Costa Rica. Expect mid 70s to high 80s with possible small rain showers here and there. We hear this time of year is the time to be there, rain makes it even more magical!

Question

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Our ceremony will be taking place at the Santa Elena Beach which is a private side of the beach at the resort. The reception will be at the Sea Side Terrace, which overlooks the pool and ocean at the resort.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Following the ceremony, there will be a private cocktail hour where the reception will be, at the Sea Side Terrace with bar service.

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly. Chris and I are going to try and plan a post "we're married!" party in Minnesota for those who were not able to come to Costa Rica with us.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Your presence in Costa Rica is a gift in itself. However, if you feel generous, we've lived together for a while now and so we've put together a gift registry of things we need to complete our home and for our new life together under the Registry tab.

Question

What are the dinner options at the reception?

Answer

We have one dinner option: Surf & Turf Filet Mignon with Shrimp with a gravy sauce and melted butter. Vegetarian options are available.

Question

Are there other wedding events I can attend during the week?

Answer

TBD If you wish to book your own excursion and explore all of what Costa Rica has to offer (there is a lot, and it's all amazing) research here: https://www.amstardmc.com/excursions/search-results.52.guanacaste/?utm_source=googleads&utm_medium=search&utm_campaign=excursions-costarica&gclid=Cj0KCQjw5ZSWBhCVARIsALERCvxiTG0QcLf5KROdAXlvtecV55Was3UkyqUQffPn1N20L74PaaTuz7UaAj_EEALw_wcB
