The Book of Kells is an incredible illuminated manuscript created by Celtic monks around 800 AD, known for its insanely detailed artwork and calligraphy. It’s housed in Trinity College Library in Dublin, where you can also walk through the stunning Long Room—a wow factor for all interested in books or not! It’s one of Ireland’s most famous treasures and definitely worth a visit if you’re into history, art, or just want to see something extremely unique!
St. Patrick's Cathedral is the largest cathedral in Ireland and is associated with St. Patrick, the country’s patron saint. The cathedral was founded in 1191 and has a deep historical and cultural significance. Located in the heart of the city, it is a perfect place to walk up to or through!
The Long Hall pub is not only one of our favorite places to grab a pint in the city, but also Bruce Springsteen's! This quaint pub helps immerse you further into the culture of Ireland. Red leather booths, tall standing bar chairs, vintage light fixtures and probably the best pint of Guinness you'll have.
We will be planning a trip out to The Temple Bar as a group, but if you care to spend some more time in the city, The Temple Bar area leaves you with much to do! Temple Bar is one of Dublin's most famous cultural and nightlife districts. Known for its cobblestone streets, historic buildings, constant live Irish music and vibrant atmosphere. The pub dates back to 1840, giving you a pure taste of the culture of Ireland. It is busy tho! So plan ahead for wait times and shortage on seating :)
If you can't make our group trip out to walk through the factory all together, it is definitely worth an extra visit if you have the time. A unique brewery experience telling the tale of Ireland's most famous beer. Tastings, activities along with ending at their rooftop bar, giving 360 views of Dublin City Center. Truly a 'Disney World' for adults :)
We will be planning another group trip out to tour the factory, but if you can't make it and have some spare time before heading back home, this is definitely worth an afternoon walk through. Located in the heart of Dublin, The Jameson Distillery Tour has expert guides tell the story of Jameson in a recreated distillery scene. Includes tastings along the way, ending at a floor open bar with dining. Even for non-whiskey drinkers, this experience is one of a kind!
Only about a 20 minute train ride from Dublin City Center, Howth is apart of Dublins Coastal Trail, giving you endless sites of the coastline, cute markets along the town line, as well as delicious places to grab lunch :) A perfect place for walkers or a drive through. You can even take a quick boat ride out on the sea to have the best view of Irelands Eye!

Aillwee Caves offer a chance to explore one of Ireland’s oldest cave systems, with winding passages, underground waterfalls, and remnants of ancient bears. Nestled in the Burren, it’s a great stop for those interested in geology or just looking for something different. The nearby Birds of Prey Centre also makes it worth the visit, with daily flying displays of hawks and owls.
