We ran in the same group of friends, but never really crossed paths much. COVID was just on the forefront and all was beginning to lockdown. Cian was only back in Savannah visiting our friends before his first year at Cape Breton University in Nova Scotia, Canada. Lyvia was hoping to finish out her semester in Savannah. As COVID was nearing in Georgia, we ended up being around each other more often than not as we kept our circles small during this time. A few group outings, birthday parties and note passings in a room full of peers, we soon realized this could lead to much more than just being friends. 2 months of memories made before we both got a call; "It's time to come home". It was a sad goodbye. Cian heading back to Ireland, Lyvia back to Vermont. Before we knew it, FaceTime calls were a multiple times a day occurrence, with never ending contact amongst the two of us, even with thousands of miles between us. We both knew this could be something we weren't ready to let go of. Before we knew it, Lyvia was on the next available flight to Ireland. Our life together started there, unsure of where we could go, but always knew we'd do it together. (See below for our first picture together in Ireland as boyfriend & girlfriend!)
