We invite you to wear elevated cocktail attire with a western influence (since the venue is a farmhouse we figured this would be fun!). We made a mood board for the ladies and gents (you can see it above) if you need some inspiration. To help you plan your outfit, we’ve included a few guidelines below. Feel free to wear what feels best for you! For Women: - Flowy midi or maxi dresses - Soft colors - Florals - Cowboy/western boots, heels or sandals For Men: - Lightweight suits or blazers with dress pants - Dress shirt - Cowboy/western boots or dress shoes - Ties, bowties, bolo ties or open collar Hats and boots definitely are not required but are very much welcome - cheers!
Warm and sunny (typically mid-80s during the day with cooler evenings, but it could end up being hotter). We suggest wearing light fabrics and removable layers to stay comfortable in the summer heat. The ceremony and reception will be outdoors, so plan accordingly!
Absolutely - we love littles, so they are most definitely welcome! We do ask that you let us know if they will be joining us or not so that we can properly finalize our guest count :)
The ceremony begins at 4pm, so we recommend arriving 20–30 minutes early to park and get seated.
As we get closer to the wedding, we'll have a better idea of whether or not we'll be providing group transportation to and from the venue. This is another reason we recommend staying at 1 of those 5 hotel options on the Travel page for shuttle pickup and drop off reasons :) As for parking, The Swanner House has plenty of on-site parking available. If you're staying locally, ride share services (Uber/Lyft) or carpooling with friends and family is a great option! There will be parking attendants on-site providing directions.
