FAQs

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

This will be a Semi-Formal wedding. We copy & pasted some information below for you if you need more help deciphering what Semi-Formal is. (; Semi-formal wedding attire is dressier than casual attire but not as dressy as formal attire. Yep—that means going the no-jacket route is completely appropriate. You can mix and match suit separates, work a sweater into the outfit (a great option for fall or winter weddings), or leave your tie at home. For those wearing dresses, something shorter or midi-length is perfect, though it's also appropriate to wear jumpsuits and separates.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Ask Kevin Lynott for fun. But seriously, it really just depends. Last year it was really hot, the previous year was kind of warm, before that it was probably cold. It's really unpredictable. However, according to Google: October in Southern Wisconsin brings brisk, mild, and highly variable autumn weather, characterized by shifting, colorful foliage and average high temperatures dropping from the low 60s°F to the mid-50s°F by month's end. Nights become cold, frequently dipping to the 30s°F.

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening.
