Maid of Honor
Ahnyung, I’m Brenda! I met this wonderful lady on move in day when her family moved her into our dorm at UC Davis. I was excited to start my college and make new friends but I didn’t expect to make such an amazing friend. We bonded with trips to the ARC to work on our hot girl bods but often ended up snacking on orange sauce covered quiche. Although we live hours apart now, i know she’s always there when I need advice, support or info on the latest foodie spot. Lynn can always bring the life and energy to any room and she’s always supportive and positive, even of your questionable choices. It’s been great seeing Lynn and Phuc’s relationship grow from just a well planned assassination to the great couple they are today. I’m super excited to be a part of her and Phuc’s big day!
Maid of Honor
UwU I am Sherry Sherry and Lynn met at UC Davis in a community service org and bonded over the hot balmy summers of Norcal. They spent many afternoons and nights at each other's apartments watching trashy reality television while eating cold lamb chops on the floor. Nothing could get between these two, not a single soul or shooting star. After moving back home to the Bay Area post-grad, Sherry and Lynn became designated movie dates where Magic Mike 2's allure did not escape them. Between cajun crab boils and korean bbqs, there has never been a purine that these two did not enjoy together.
Priest of the Vietnamese Moon
QA's hair is so big because it is full of secrets. QA's likes: being fancy, ranking Bronze on Valorant, spending time with his family, laughing at his student's memes on twitter, asking Phuc when they can play Civ6, the ocean QA's dislikes: ugly people QA Nguyen is one of Live Oak High School's very best teachers, if not the best teacher in the entire world. When he is not educating and enlightening the next generation of trailblazers, he enjoys being a handsome couch potato with his husband, Emmanuel, and their beautiful dog daughter, Banh Mi Nguyen Aglubat.
Girl Boss
I met Kat as a bratty ass freshman who accosted me in her apartment parking lot, demanding to know if I remembered her name for our student organization. One would say her charms grew on me, but it was her sharp-as-knives wit and clever jokes that were convincing enough for a decade long friendship. My favorite memories of Kat also include her sweet son, Sandwich Sun. Sandwich is the kind of dog that will show you in his eyes that you are his entire world and nothing else compares in that very moment. Watching Kat and Sandwich together gives me hope that humanity may one day save itself from the brink of extinction. At the wedding, please have a shot with Kat and cheers to Sandwich (who unfortunately may not be able to attend).

Friends since high school, Kaycee has always been the loudest in any room she glides into. The perfect Bach Nation fan, one could spend hours debating with Kaycee on the intricacies of which season is the supreme. Ask her at the wedding which previous Bachelor contestant she works with ;) Kaycee enjoys spending time at the Polynesian Cultural Center in Hawaii, fresh flowers from the Seattle market, walking her senior dog to the closest neighborhood brewery that Kenji Lopez-Alt frequents, sharing her boba with her husband, Victor, and being the most charged person in a pilates class. Kaycee loves winding down every night with a glass of White Claw and her favorite network t.v show in Seattle, Washington.
Best Man
Since the time they were young, Phuc and Duc were always together. They spent hours watching and re-watching Mortal Kombat, playing through the Halo games, and eating rotisserie chicken on their birthdays. Duc introduced Phuc to MapleStory, where they spent many hours grinding out mesos. Today, their conversations often revolve around finance and investments. Duc is a father to two beautiful little girls and it is a well known fact that new dads go the hardest at weddings, so please feel free to take a shot with him at ours. He has all the best traits you could ask for in a man, a brother, and a father. Phuc is honored to call him his best man.
Best Man
Phuc and Daniel first met each other in 9th grade English class and ended up sharing many classes throughout high school. Daniel used to come over to Phuc's house after school, where they would share ramen noodles with an egg, since that was all Phuc knew how to cook. In college, Phuc visited Daniel in Seattle and slept on his floor. Phuc slept on Daniel's floor again in Japan, where Daniel was teaching English after finishing his degree. The two love talking watches and clothing, with gifts often coming as new timepieces or discounts on suiting. In the pre-pandemic time, Daniel acted as the project manager of the groomsmen and continues to be a great best man and a better friend.
Lead Dancer
Phuc and Phillip met through Key Club in high school, where they bonded while doing events such as Relay For Life. One of Phuc's favorite memories with Phillip was when they flew to the east coast together and Phillip was wearing so much Nike, it looked like he was sponsored by them. While Phillip enjoys reading manga, watching the Kings, and traveling to new places, he has also been known to unlock dancing abilities after having a few drinks. Since there will be an open bar at the wedding, Phuc hopes we will see these powers unleashed on the world once again. Through the years, Phillip has worn titles such as floor manager, defensive driver, and human GPS; Phuc is proud to add groomsmen to that list.
Techwear Ninja
Jerel and Phuc share a love for a clothes going back to the day when they went to a warehouse sale in West Sacramento. One year, Jerel threw a Christmas party and Phuc and the guys actually left the house much cleaner than when they found it. Often found at parties, Jerel once decided to wear the same t-shirt every time he went to a party in Davis. When asked why he did this, he simply replied, "So it always looks like I'm partying." The two have traveled on many adventures together, even once going to Japan, where they leaved their weeaboo dreams. Jerel is known for being unknowable, but he has formed a friendship with Phuc, and Phuc is glad to call Jerel a friend and a groomsman.
Surprise
The couple's favorite bros to do In-n-Out runs with, Michael and Mitchel are Lynn and Phuc's homies since their literal births. No one can get down and gamble at a Lunar New Year party like these two. Once at a family party, Michael almost robbed everyone by winning the dice game 8 times in a row. Poor Lynn and Phuc had to borrow money from Michael on the last bet, only to lose that money too. The two sweetest boys in San Jose have grown up seeing their youngest auntie fall in love with a stranger that Michael now outranks on Valorant.
