HOW WE MET

We met through a mutual third party, Fran Durepo. Kurt was working for Mr. Durepo and I was working with Mrs. Durepo. Fran spoke to me of "this handsome guy" working for her husband, thought he would be a good match and asked if she could give him my phone number and I said "sure you can give him my number". One evening I got a call and from this point on life happened, things waxed and waned and eventually we were an "item". Thank you Fran Durepo! The quote from Ricardo Montalban really sums up our lives: "True love doesn't happen right away; it's an ever-growing process. It develops after you've gone through many ups and downs, when you've suffered together, cried together, laughed together."

THE PROPOSAL

Monday, October 9, 2017, a day to remember and cherish forever. While visiting Acadia National Park, a top Cadillac Mountain, standing in the rain looking out at the ocean, the man I love turned to me and asked for my hand in marriage. With a rush of emotions and through the tears I said "Yes"! And so our journey begins...
