What are the Latest CDC updates as of 1/26/2021 and how are we addressing it?

COVID tests are required to come BACK! We have coordinated to have the ANTIGEN test done on hotel grounds SATURDAY morning for $80. Most will be arriving Friday, so the test will be the NEXT day! Facts: It takes a few days after exposure to produce a + result. Note: PCR tests are also available at the hospital in la Romana 5 minutes away. ***IMPORTANT: IF TRAVELING FRIDAY - MONDAY*** A viral test done in the US can be used to fulfill the requirements of the Order as long as the specimen was taken no more than 3 days before your return flight departs. In other words, if leaving Friday & returning Monday, you can test in Miami FRIDAY MORNING before your flight & use that result to return & NOT need to test in DR. Exception: If you tested positive within the last 3 months, you do NOT need a test! You will need documentation of your positive viral test results & a letter from your healthcare provider or a public health official that states you have been cleared for travel.

Do I have an option to stay outside of the hotel or book through a 3rd party site?

Answer

We have coordinated with the hotel to have an all-inclusive discounted rate for our guests. This is why we have created the link to the hotel on this site to facilitate the booking process for you. Please note, if you do NOT stay at the hotel, you will be responsible to pay a NON-INCLUSIVE SUPPLEMENTAL FEE of $95 + 28% service charge PER PERSON, PER EVENT. So for example, if you are 2 people and are going to 2 events, you will need to pay $486.40. This is a HOTEL policy. Also, should you choose to stay elsewhere or book through a 3rd party site or any site that is NOT the one provided, there will be no way for us to know you have booked. Please inform us that you booked as we will need to coordinate with the hotel for pricing and final numbers per event. Make life simple - book through the link we provided here on the website!

What are the latest updates?

Answer

Due to COVID, we had to POSTPONE our wedding. It has been rescheduled for February 21, 2021 (SUNDAY) with event dates from Friday, February 19th - Tuesday, February 23rd. We will provide transportation to those arriving into Punta Cana (PUJ) on Friday (2/19). If you book by October 31st, there will be Free Cancellation/ Full Refund up to 3 days prior to arrival date. In addition, kids 12 and under will stay free!! (2 per room max) If you book after October 31st, Kids 3 & under: FREE and Kids 4-12 years of age: $115/ day (taxes and fees included). Furthermore, full refund if you cancel up to 30 days prior to arrival date.

NO. Flights are booked separately. The "TRAVEL" tab has a link that takes you directly to rooms. Direct flights (to and from Miami) are available through American Airlines. RECOMMEND TO BUY INSURANCE, AS WE HAVE LEARNED, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT CAN HAPPEN!!!

Will there be transportation provided from the Airport to Casa De Campo Resort and Villas?

Transportation to Casa de Campo Resort and Villas will be provided on Friday, 2/19, from both American Airlines flights from Miami to Punta Cana Airport: Flight 1: leaves Miami @ 10:37 AM and arrives @ PUJ @ 2:08 PM Flight 2: leaves Miami @ 12:30 PM and arrives @ PUJ @ 3:57 PM Once you book one of these flights, please contact Josefina Brito at DMC.ASSESSOR@tourexpertsdmc.com and provide the following: Arrival date/ time, flight number, airline, number of guests. *Important: specify you are guests of Lynette & Mike's wedding and she will send you a confirmation for airport transfers. Driver(s) will meet our guests at the airport (outside of customs) to assist and escort you to the bus.

What if I fly into Santo Domingo OR arrive on a flight that is not one of the 2 listed above - How do I accomodate transportation to the resort?

Payment: Cash to the driver for individual arrivals and departure.

Can I check in before Friday (2/19) or leave after Tuesday (2/23)?

Yes! The Prices you see for the hotel nightly rate are honored from Tuesday, 2/16 to Friday, 2/26.

How will the hotel know I am part of the "All-Inclusive" package?

Answer

The hotel itself is not an "all-inclusive" hotel. However, our wedding party does have the "all-inclusive" package. The hotel does not give wristbands. When going to any of the included restaurants or bars, you will be asked for your room card and you will get a receipt to sign. You are NOT being charged (just hotel policy). When in doubt, ask.
