Maid of Honor
"It’s hard to even remember how Lyn and I met because we have been best friends since we were 5 years old. We have basically grown up together and have been waiting for this time for so long! I can remember staying up late at sleepovers with her talking about our wedding days. I am so excited to finally be able to stand next to my BFF on her big day!"
Best Man
"I’m one of Josh’s best men and his Sgt in the Virginia National Guard. I initially met Josh after he was being smoked for having someone else clean his weapon because he didn’t. Turned out to not be his fault in the first place, but I really got to know him when we started the COVID mission in Fredericksburg at the food bank. He was my roommate at the hotel after I switched with someone else to room with him, and that’s when we really got to know each other. I really think of Josh as more of a brother than a friend. Not only because of us being in a family of combat engineers, but as blood-related. It’s amazing how I’ve only known Josh for a small time if you think about it, but we clicked. That’s the simplest way to put it."

"I’m Kayli and I’m one of Lynelle’s bridesmaids! I met Lynelle sophomore year in nursing school. We were in the same clinical group and immediately hit it off. She’s been one of my best friends ever since then! I’m so blessed and excited to stand by her side on her and Josh’s big day!"
Best Man
"I first met Josh during a soccer tournament in high school. I was briefly met him before he stormed away in frustration due the outcome of the game or the fact that he got juked out by the skinny ginger on the other team (me). In college we lived on the same floor as each other. Little did I know that Josh was going to become one of my best friends and even my Best Man at my wedding. One of my favorite memories is when I wiped out while skating with Josh and I look up and he is dying laughing. Josh has showed me that no decision is ever too last minute as long as it involves something fun. Ecclesiastes 4:10 says, “if either of them falls down, one can help the other up.” At this point, Josh is no longer a friend, he is family. I am stoked for this new chapter in you guys' lives."

"Lynelle and I met our sophomore year of college through our mutual friend, Sydney, who is another bridesmaid! The day Lynelle and I met, I knew we would be best friends for life! We have the same sense of humor and spent many nights in Sydney’s room feeding off of each other's energy, even when she was trying to sleep (sorry about that). Lynelle has been my roommate for two years now and we have had so much fun! From the countless dance sessions to Starbucks runs to the noise complaints (oops), I know I will always have fun with Lynelle! She is someone who loves intentionally and always goes the extra mile, and I couldn’t love her more for it. I am honored to be apart of her and Josh's big day. I couldn’t think of two more beautiful souls who are more deserving of the love they share."
Best Man
"Josh and I formally met at Liberty University freshman year in 2017. Josh and I got to know each other pretty well around Sophomore year at Liberty, when Brett and I moved off campus and were neighbors with Josh. Brett, Josh, and I are all currently roommates and have basically lived with each other for two years now. Josh and I have grown to be great friends and I consider him to be family, as we have shared many memories through various adventures and completely safe, smart, and low-risk shenanigans. Whatever life has thrown at us we have been there for each other and I am undoubtedly grateful to have him as one of my close friends. I am very excited to share the experience of the beginning a great new chapter in both the lives of Josh and Lynelle, and wish them the best of luck."

“My name is Jade Deguzman, I am honored to be one of the bridesmaids in Lynelle and Josh’s wedding. I am 16 years old and I am from Manalapan, New Jersey. I dance and love to travel. Lynelle and I are cousins, and we’ve known each other our whole lives. I’m so glad she is part of my family."

"I’m Lynelle’s younger brother, and I am truly happy and honored to be standing next to the man who has made my sister the happiest. Josh has been like another role model in my life, and like an older brother that I had never had. From the surf days to getting whooped in ping pong, I’ve enjoyed all of the great memories I’ve had with Josh. I’m truly excited to call him my brother-in-law and for all the memories that will be made in this family."

"I’m Gabi and I’m one of Lynelle’s bridesmaids. We met at the beginning of junior year of nursing school through our mutual friend Kayli (who is also another bridesmaid). Even in the short amount of time knowing Lynelle, our friendship has grown so strong and we literally have the same exact sense of humor. So, a lot of our time together is spent laughing and annoying Kayli. I’m so honored and happy to be able to stand next to Josh and Lynelle as they step into marriage together."

"Josh and I met on COVID 19 orders in Fredericksburg Virginia. Funny how I was asked to be a groomsman just after knowing him for a few months. Yet, I see him as my younger brother. I've grown to like him for how bold he is, always wanting to do challenging things. I've tolerated how crazy he gets, always trying to get me to participate in embarrassing tasks. Most importantly, I've loved how committed he is in wanting to be my friend. We've traveled together; we've vacationed together; I've met some of his family; and we have planned future events. Family isn't always blood, and Josh has proven that."

"Neller and I met sophomore year of nursing school the day I walked in and saw she stole “my seat” in our Health Assessment class. I quickly realized that she would become someone I would gladly offer my seat to any day for the rest of my life. She is beautiful, kind, thoughtful, caring, artistic, and hilaaaarious. She’s seen me at my worst and has encouraged me to be my best. I’m so thrilled for her and Josh. Jesus has so much in store for these two! I’m thankful to not only be able to stand by her side on their wedding day but to stand beside the both of them in their covenant with God and each other for the rest of their lives. So Neller, *long stare* I’d just like to say to you and to everyone here, “Gracias par livare la casa. And los en a sol. Tines con….and Gracias.”

"I have had the privilege of knowing Josh since the beginning of he and Lynelle’s relationship. It has been so awesome to see him change and grow since meeting him years ago. From double dates, photoshoots, movie nights,..etc. Josh is the kind of friend that whenever I see him it’s like we’ve never been apart. I’ve loved seeing the love that he has for Lynelle grow and flourish throughout the years. Lynelle I have known since about as long as I can remember, but our friendship didn’t really grow until high school. Seeing the way she puts up with, and loves Josh everyday is so amazing. I’m so thankful to call them both friends and can’t wait to celebrate next to them on their special day."

"I’m Sydney and I am one of Lynelle’s bridesmaids! We met in high school through a mutual friend. Once her and Josh started dating, we hung out in the same friend group a couple of times, including the special night when Josh asked her to be his girlfriend!! Our sophomore year of college, Lynelle happened to live right across the hall from me and that was one of the biggest blessings that year. Our friendship grew a lot that year and I cherish that time so much!! I am so excited for Josh and Lynelle and it’s been so special to watch their relationship grow from the very beginning. I am so honored and excited to be apart of Lynelle and Josh’s special day— we’ve been waiting for this!!!"

"I met Josh freshman year living on the same hall. My favorite memories are Sunday nights at the C-Lab (Ask Josh). To the newlyweds: May for better or worse be far better than worse. A Happy marriage begins when you marry the one you love and it blossoms when you love the one you marry. Compromise and sacrifice will bring much joy and happiness to your marriage! Congratulations Josh and Lynelle! God has blessed you guys with one another and this beautiful marriage! Can’t wait to watch you guys grow in your relationship with Him and with each other."

"My name is Marissa, and I’m Josh’s big sister. I met Lynelle when her and Josh first started dating in high school. That was the happiest I had ever seen Josh, and I knew from the day I met Lynelle she was perfect for him. She definitely isn’t like any other girl. Lynelle is truly a gift from God that Josh was blessed with. I love her and her family very much and I’m really excited to finally have a sister!"

"I met Josh in high school at a football game when Lynelle had just started dating him. It only took meeting him once to realize we had the same humor and can continue to make each other laugh. The amount of times Josh and I have gone to get breakfast to talk about life is too many to count, and every time I realize just how lucky I am to have such an amazing friend. I’ve known Lynelle since preschool and we’ve been best friends ever since. Even though college was the first time where we didn’t go to school together, somehow we’ve only become closer and she will always be my best friend. I’m lucky enough to consider both Josh and Lynelle some of my closest friends, and I have known that both of them were perfect for each other since the first time I met Josh at that football game."
Ring Bearers
I (Lynelle) have been babysitting these two boys since they were babies, and we couldn’t have picked a better pair to be our ring security! We love you guys!
