What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

If you are staying overnight in Farmville or any surrounding areas, traveling from another destination, or flying in the day of our wedding, please plan travel times accordingly. So, because of the time and how dark it gets so early, we want our guests to get to the venue around 2:45 pm at the very latest. That way, we can get the party started!

Are Kids Invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us! We will only be having children from our families in our processional.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation was labeled with "...and Guest," then please don't hesitate to bring one! If not, we would appreciate if it were just you due to venue capacity.

Will we be inside or outside?

Answer

Our venue allows for both inside and outside gathering spaces. Considering we are in Virginia, it could be 75 degrees and sunny on our wedding day, so it all depends on the weather! For a definite answer, the reception will be inside the Ballroom. However, cocktail hour will be outside complete with hors d'oeuvres and lawn games (corhole, giant Jenga, etc.). Ceremony is to be determined!

What do I wear?

Answer

Good question. So, we want our guests to feel comfortable and look sharp! So, we are suggesting semi-formal attire! This can mean cocktail dresses, casual dresses, button-up with a tie and nice jeans or slacks. Honestly, up to you! Just no cargo shorts and T-shirts, please! Oh - and bring your dancing shoes!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Our sweet venue has a large field created just for parking! A complimentary transportation service for guests who are unable to walk farther distances is also provided, considering parking is about a 5-minute walk away from the ceremony location. Oh, and parking is totally free.

Our registries can be found in the "Registries" page! We are also accepting gift cards!

Can I take pictures and post them to social media?

Answer

Yes! We just ask you to post it with the hashtag #CallUsCanales so we can keep track of all of your pictures! However, for the ceremony, we do ask that you refrain from using any camera, phones, or recorders to keep our ceremony as intimate as possible! We appreciate your understanding.
