Juan and Lyndsey met while out in South Milwaukee for a Sunday Funday. Lyndsey was with Amanda Fritz at Tap Room when they ran into Roberto Valdivia, and he joined them for a drink. They all decided to head over to Bottoms Up, but first, Roberto needed to stop home. At the time, Juan was living with Roberto, and Roberto invited Juan to join them. Juan debated between joining them for a drink and taking a nap, because if you know Juan, he loves his naps. Ultimately, he decided to join the group at Bottoms Up. When Juan arrived, Lyndsey said to Amanda, "Oh, that guy is cute." To which Amanda replied, "Juan? He went to our high school. That is Roberto's cousin." Juan introduced himself, and the group had some drinks and hung out. Lyndsey and Juan did not talk again for several months. The next time they talked, Juan reached out to Lyndsey to ask her on a date. They went to Umbrella Bar, had some drinks under the fireworks, and the rest is history!
