Our Love Story

In a world of serendipity and divine timing, our paths crossed in the most unexpected of ways. It was a moment that felt ordinary at first—great conversation, flirtatious giggles—but looking back, we realize it was the beginning of something extraordinary, guided by God's perfect plan. Lyndon had always believed that love should feel like coming home—warm, familiar, and effortless. Charise, on the other hand, was convinced that love was about travel and adventure, about finding someone who made every day exciting. Little did we know, we were both right, and that God had orchestrated the perfect moment for our hearts to meet. When we first met, we would spend hours learning about one another, our families, our favorite pastimes, intimate secrets, passions and dreams.  Though our initial conversations were filled with laughter and curiosity, neither of us knew that those moments would lay the foundation for something so lasting. Over time, through God's grace, our connection deepened, and we realized that what we had was perfect —a love rooted not only in our feelings but in our faith. One of the most unforgettable moments in our journey was the night Lyndon proposed. It began with a romantic dinner at The Bazaar inside of the Waldorf Astoria—an evening filled with love and anticipation. After dinner, he invited me for ice cream at the Navy Yard knowing it’s my absolute favorite treat. As we walked along the waterfront, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere, Lyndon dropped to one knee and asked the question that would change our lives forever. We knew in that moment that God's hand had been guiding us all along. From that magical moment to the countless hours spent simply enjoying each other’s company, we began to build a life together—one full of love, understanding, and mutual respect. We balanced each other in ways we never expected, and we trust God to continue guiding us through every season of life. Where one of us is strong, the other is patient. Where one of us is spontaneous, the other is steady. And in all things, we find strength in our faith and the love we share. Now, as we prepare to take the next step in our journey, we look forward to the many adventures ahead. Our love is rooted in friendship, laughter, and the promise that whatever the future holds, we will face it together—hand in hand, with God at the center of it all. Song of Solomon 3:4  “I have found the one whom my soul loves”
