What's the deal with the cowboy hat?
Answer
Years ago, Ashley’s father gave her a necklace that came in a cowboy hat shaped box. Ashley’s sister, Lauren, thought it was the best thing she had ever seen and kept it for her own amusement, bringing it out from time to time to fake propose and joke that she would make sure Ashley’s future boyfriend use it when the time came. Fast forward 10 years to December 23, 2022, in one of the most romantic and heartfelt moments of Ashley’s life. She waited with bated breath to see the ring. As Vitaly brought his hand from around his back, she only thought one thing… “that damn hat.” The box was lost after the engagement party, however, Ashley & Vitaly like to think it has served its purpose and is in a better place.

Answer
Although we love your small humans, our reception is an adults only affair. Call in the sitter, relax and enjoy the evening celebrating with us!

Answer
We have a room block at The Westgate Hotel where the reception will be taking place. Visit the Travel page for more information!

What color are the bridesmaids wearing?
Answer
The bridal party will be in a sage green for the ceremony.

Is there transportation to the ceremony?
Answer
We will have a bus shuttling from The Westgate Hotel to the church for the ceremony and back. Because space is limited, we ask that you let us know if you will be utilizing the bus by either emailing us at TheHerberts23@gmail.com or reaching out to one of us directly. If you are visiting San Diego and do not have a rental car, there will also be plenty of ride-share services.

Is parking available at the venue?
Answer
The ceremony venue has a large parking lot available. The reception venue offers valet only; However, as the reception space is downtown, there is street parking available, along with nearby parking garages.

What Should I Wear?
Answer
Ceremony: Garden or Morning Dress. Military members are encouraged to wear their formal uniform Reception: Black Tie
