Rooms are blocked off at the Fairfield Marriot in Leavenworth that also offers a shuttle. (913)758-9303 There is one, renovated hotel in downtown Weston named The St. George Hotel although it has received mixed reviews. There are a few other basic hotels in Platte City is approximately 6-10 miles away. We do believe they provide a shuttle to Weston at a cost.

If you are staying in Leavenworth at the Fairfield (the hotel blocked for this wedding), there is a shuttle available both Friday evening as well as Saturday. They will drop you at the venue, retrieve you & even take you to & from Weston later that evening. If you are staying in Weston & prefer to not drive, a larger vehicle that seats 6 will be shuttling folks to and from the venue. Please meet in front of the Bohaty's house at 3:45pm on Saturday 5/26 for this service. We'll get you all there & back, safe and sound.

As noted, the drive from MCI to Weston, MO is approximately 20 minutes. There are a number of car rental agencies directly at the airport. If staying outside of Weston in another town, you will likely want to arrange for a vehicle. The venue for the wedding is 5 miles outside of Weston on a winding road. No good option for walking and no taxi services.

Bed & Breakfast Options

Weston is a historical town that hosts a number of darling Bed & Breakfasts. If you find lodging in Weston, it will be within walking distance of the small downtown. If you find a place in a surrounding town, Platte City (approximately 7-10 miles drive) or Leavenworth (approximately 10 miles drive), you will need to have a vehicle or take the shuttle from the Leavenworth Fairfield.

The Great Outdoors

There are a handful of campsites in the Weston Bend State Park, just a stones throw from where the wedding will be held. The camp officials warned us that they indeed fill up quite quickly. So, if you are interested in sleeping under the stars, please book well in advance.

Alas, Airbnb

Weston has restrictions on Airbnb so that it does not take business away from the handful of actual B&B's that exist in this tiny town. Feel free to peruse the Airbnb website. Leavenworth, Platte City, & Atchison are all around the corner from Weston. A place in one of these towns will require a vehicle.

There is one airport approximately 20 minutes drive from Weston, MO. There are plenty of lodging options around the airport itself. However, we recommend you look for lodging in or around Weston, as the sprawl off I-29 is far less appealing. Please see the accommodations section below for further info.
