How far is the wedding venue from Weston?

Answer

About 5 miles out of town on a winding, two-lane road. No option for walking, unfortunately. Carpooling will be encouraged from Weston. If you are staying in Leavenworth at the Fairfield, there will be a hotel shuttle for use.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Sure. We understand some of you cannot leave the kids at home, but if you could bribe a family member or friend to take them, that would be ideal. Email or text one of us if you think your entire family will be joining us.

How far is the drive from Durango to Weston?

Answer

Approximately 14 hours. There are different routes to take and we are happy to give you our best suggestion.

Will there be a 'rehearsal' dinner or event the night prior?

Answer

You will be on your own for dinner Friday night but we would love everyone to come over to Mike and Cyndee Bohaty's home in downtown Weston for drinks and dessert that evening. Please see the Schedule page for a time.

Where is the nearest grocery store? Liquor store?

Answer

Reminder that this town is quite small. There is one little grocer just out of the downtown that offers a few basic staples. They also have a small selection of boozie items (Missouri is not a 3.2 state:). Hearth Bakery has yummy handmade breads if you can get there before he sells out. McCormicks Country Store downtown has liquor of various flavors. Not all are quality but they do sell some nicer selections. Plus, quarter tasters. Why not? YUM. Platte City offers larger grocery stores, gas stations, liquor stores, food options. There is a giant Price Chopper for food and alcohol.
