Yes! Our wedding ceremony and reception will both take place at the Franklin Railroad Museum at 572 Main St, Franklin, NY 13775.
The wedding is catered by a very special local restaurant, Tulip and the Rose, which hand-makes and serves lovely food. As a buffet, you can choose from options, including Salmon, Chicken, and a vegetarian pasta dish. We can accommodate vegans as well. We want to make sure you have a delightful time, so if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, that you want us to know about please email us hweinstock89@gmail.com.
Yes! We have included many kids in our wedding planning, those our family and friends. They will add a special joy to the day (and possibly some extra burbling). We look forward to seeing the babies and kids!
The wedding is dressy casual, so please feel free to wear whatever you'd feel best in! Think of a dressy summer garden party! Bride and Groom care most about your comfort and ability to adjust if the weather dips and gets a bit chilly.
We will be in the museum and in an open-air covered tent beside the building for all of the events.
Yes, parking is plentiful at the museum and on the streets in Franklin.
Oh, thanks for asking!! We need to know if you are coming by May 5th, yes or no to be able to make sure there is the correct amount of food and drink for your needs. Hope you can join us but if you can't please do let us know! And for the hotel block, the deadline to register directly with the Marx Hotel is May 15th, when they will release any unreserved rooms.
While the bride and groom continue to pray to the weather gods for clear skies and cool weather. Realistically, there can be rain and heat! Our wedding is taking place rain or shine, but please dress for comfort. Remember we are high up in the mountains and the evening it can be a bit cooler. As of 6.11 the weather seems to be pretty dreamy; high seventies during the day but a dip to fifties in the evening.
