The Outer Banks is a stretch of barrier islands made up of several towns, so location matters when booking your stay. For convenience, we recommend staying in Manteo, Kill Devil Hills, or Nags Head, as they are within 10–30 minutes of our venue. One of our favorite things about the Outer Banks is the variety of places to stay throughout the area — from beachfront hotels to vacation homes perfect for groups and families. Rather than reserving one specific hotel block, we’ve shared a few accommodations we recommend so guests can choose what works best for their weekend plans. Please note that towns further north (such as Duck or Corolla) can be 45+ minutes away, so we suggest checking drive times before booking. We also recommend renting a car for your stay if you are flying in, as transportation options (Uber/Lyft) are limited in the area.

The closest airport to our venue is Norfolk International Airport (ORF), located about 90 miles (approximately 2 hours) from the Outer Banks. This is typically the most convenient option for guests. Additional airport options include: • Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) – approximately 190 miles (3.5 hours) away • Richmond International Airport (RIC) – approximately 180miles (3 hours) away
