Question

Will the wedding be moving forward after Hurricane Melissa?

Answer

Yes! We are happy to share that Lydia & Scott’s wedding celebration is still joyfully moving forward on Sunday, January 18, 2026, as planned at the Rose Hall Great House! The venue sustained minimal damage and planned activities and excursions are set to be available ahead of the wedding weekend. We have, however, updated our accommodations options. Please see the Travel tab for more details. Also, if you have not yet done so, kindly take a moment to update your RSVP status to help us ensure an accurate headcount.

Question

I originally booked accommodations at Dreams Rose Hall. Will I be able to get a refund for my stay?

Answer

Unfortunately, Dreams Rose Hall Resort & Spa sustained damages from the storm and will no longer be able to accommodate our group. Hyatt is offering full refunds for reservations booked through January 31, 2026. We are, however, pleased to share that we have confirmed two wonderful all-inclusive alternatives for your stay and encourage guests reserve their accommodations by December 21, 2025 to ensure availability. Is there transportation from MBJ airport to my hotel?

Answer

We are excited to offer a group special for guests staying on the Hip Strip through Wright Choice Tours. We have shared vans reserved to transport guests from MBJ airport to Hip Strip area hotels for $10 USD per person one way. If interested, please contact Wright Choice Tours for more information (see below) and to submit your flight arrival and departure times. We otherwise strongly recommend using shuttle or private transportation. Question

Will a shuttle be provided from the ceremony location to the reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are taking place at the same venue. Transportation will only be available to guests leaving from the S Hotel and Deja Resort in the shuttles will leave promptly at 4 PM. At the wedding reception, shuttles will depart on a rolling basis for guests that would like to return to the hip strip. The first shuttle leaves for S Hotel and Deja Resort at 10 PM, then 11 PM, followed by the last shuttle departing at midnight.

What's the dress code?

Answer

Black tie optional: For the gentlemen, this typically means tuxedos and nice suits, while ladies are encouraged to wear elegant gowns or cocktail dresses. Tropical colors are encouraged. We want everyone to feel comfortable and look their best as we share in this joyous occasion.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We appreciate your enthusiasm and can't wait to celebrate with you. To ensure that we can accommodate all our guests comfortably, we kindly request that you honor the number of guests indicated in your invitation. Please visit the RSVP tab for information regarding the guests in your party. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Answer

While we love you and your children, we kindly ask that you honor your invitation and the names included in your party. This is an adult only (21+) celebration. Thank you for your cooperation.
