It was a miracle that they even met at all, being just two of Purdue’s fifty thousand students, but also majoring in completely opposite things (Lydia in Communications, Sam in MET). Surely it was no coincidence that led them to share a class and eventually be sorted into the same group for a project. They began talking when Sam teased Lydia about her assortment of colored pens, and Lydia teased Sam about how he spilled his drink all over the classroom floor. They began walking from classes together, hit it off immediately, and the rest is history. Sam took Lydia back to that very same classroom to ask her to be his wife. She said yes (through many happy tears).
