Sara has been my best friend for nearly 15 years, and I truly cannot imagine going through life without her by my side. We’ve been through so many milestones together, from graduating high school and college to heartbreaks, growing pains, and eventually finding and building lives with the men of our dreams. I still laugh thinking about how, after Robert and my first date, Sara was the one I immediately texted and called the next day to tell her all about him. Now, standing beside me as I marry him feels so full circle. From the moment I asked her to be my Matron of Honor, she stepped into the role so effortlessly, already planning the bachelorette party, checking in on me constantly, and making me feel so loved and celebrated through this entire season of life. She is thoughtful, loyal, fun, and truly the best friend a girl could ask for.

What a blessing it is to have someone in your life who has grown up alongside you, shared so many of the same experiences and memories, yet somehow turned out to be so different from you hahaha. Even with all our differences, we’ve always understood each other in a way only sisters can. Some of my favorite memories include being a part of her wedding, becoming an aunt to her boys, and having someone I can talk to about absolutely everything or absolutely nothing at all. When I think of my sister, I think of someone who is tough, loyal, and one of the best moms I know. Watching her raise her boys has made me so excited for the day our future kids get to grow up together. I’m so grateful to have her standing beside me on such an important day.

From the day we met, we instantly became best friends. In fact, less than six months later, we became roommates. Over the years, we've been through breakups, new jobs, career changes, and somehow even met our future husbands during the exact same week! From movie and game nights at the apartment to spending way too much time playing pool at Waldo's, we've made some pretty great memories together. She came into my life at exactly the right time, and we've been causing trouble and cheering each other on ever since. I'm so lucky to have one of my best friends standing by my side.
