They met over 7 years ago at a comedy theater in NYC. Chris had been on stage and Angela was in the audience. The show was produced by a woman named Carla Nager, a tiny and, we say this with love, stereotypical NYC Jewish woman. She had asked Chris to be her “Jay-Z Hype Man.” Chris, who had for the past few weeks been filming a webseries featuring his dating abilities… or lack thereof… had been encouraged to chat with more young ladies and Angela fit that description. Chris thought it was going very well. It was not. Chris suggested maybe they get drinks sometime, Angela said, “hmmm uh, do you have a business card on you or something?” Chris did not. So Angela reached into her purse as if to look for one, Chris was hopeful until he noticed she wasn’t really looking for one, but just swishing things around pretending to look. He wanted to slink away with some dignity left… he would not. Angela eventually pulled out her phone and said, “um, how about I just friend you on FB.” So they friended and Chris walked away and told his friend about his failure and left thinking he’d never see her again. Weeks later Chris sent FB invites for his bday party. He blindly sent them to all his NYC FB friends. Angela who had been quietly reading Chris’ statuses, while also angrily judging his poor grammar, sent a response saying she wouldn’t be going. Chris told all of his friends, “you remember that girl that shot me down?! She responded just to tell me she isn’t coming! Why didn’t she just ignore it? That *b-word*” As a few more weeks passed, Chris had just finished his weekly Friday improv show and was looking at his phone waiting for his friends to perform when he got an FB message from Angela saying, “what are you doing online on a Friday night, shouldn’t you be out?” Chris would turn to the person next to him and say, “you remember that *b-word*? Now she’s mocking me for not being out!” Angela then reminded Chris that he still owed her a drink…

7 Years ago Angela and Chris met at Carla Nager’s show, Chris was on stage and Angela was in the crowd (See above). A year after that date they "randomly" took a walk through a park, that's where John Schmitt was waiting with his guitar to play one of his songs, "Two Souls Meet in the City." Angela had heard the song and loved it, but had never met John. She thought it was a random musician until she recognized the song and said, “OMG ARE YOU JOHN SCHMITT!?” Also in the park was Dana Schulman with her BF Giancarlo’s camera to get all the pics. On April 29th of this year, Chris tried to recreate some of those moments. They met up for their Meetiversary and took a walk towards a surprise restaurant… walking past the theater that they met at (also they spit on it because Chris hates that place now) but SWERVE! The surprise was Carla in the park! And John with his guitar again. And Dana with GC and his camera. And also Paul. This time instead of trying and failing to get her number... Chris had another question... and to this question she didn't say no... though we aren't exactly sure if she said yes. She was kind of backing away. But she did do the Daniel Bryan YES! chant movement, and that's good enough!
