Offersøykammen (1-2 hours) About 20 minute drive from Unstad. An accessible hike with beautiful views. Reinebringen (2-3 hours) About a 45 minute drive from Unstad. One of the most known hikes in the area, it offers over 2,000 stone steps and 1,500 feet of elevation along with incredible views.
Henningsvaer: Fishing village with great shopping, restaurants, and famous for its soccer field. Lofotr Viking Museum: Just 5 miles from Unstad this is an immersive historical museum featuring the worlds longest reconstructed Viking longhouse. Nusfjord: Preserved historic fishing village and UNESCO world heritage site. Lofoten Gårdsysteri Farm: Grab a bite to eat, attend a cheese making class, and visit the goats at this sweet cafe 5 minutes away from Unstad. We recommend you do some grocery shopping in Leknes as Unstad is quite remote. However, here are a few places we recommend. Lofoten Gårdsysteri Farm: Grab a bite to eat and visit the goats at this sweet cafe 5 minutes away from Unstad. Unstad Arctic Surf: Serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and has the best cinnamon buns! Karoline Restaurant at Nusfjord Resort: Highly acclaimed restaurant housed at Nusfjord resort. Låven Restaurant: Farm to table restaurant at Hov Gård. Digg Lofoten: Cozy restaurant that serves locally sourced fish. Anitas Sjømat: Restaurant near where the ferry arrives to stop and enjoy some local fish!
