Mount Kineo

If you have a free morning or afternoon, we recommend making the trip to Mt. Kineo. It's about a 25 minute drive from Greenville to the town of Rockwood where you will take a ferry boat to the island (about 20mins). On the island, hike the face of the mountain which was sheered off by a glacier a long time ago and don't miss out on the views from the fire tower on top! Hiking time varies from about 2 hrs to 6+, depending on how much of the mountain/island you want to explore.
