We are getting married! Nos vamos a casar!

The date listed above isn't our wedding date - it's actually the day we first met. Special shoutout to the groomsmen("the boys") for bringing Gustavo to the party that started it all! You might think we met at a bar, on tinder, or through social media, but truth is, we met at Lupe's home (which is now our home!). before meeting, Lupe had already heard about the "LOUD ONE" of the group - and that only made her more curious to meet Gustavo. What she didn't expect, though, was to actually like him! Meanwhile Gustavo was eager to see who "Lupe" was all about. Fast forward to October 16th, 2021 - Lupe hosted a birthday party, and that's where it all began. The moment we met, we clicked instantly (and for those who were there - thank you, you witnessed it firsthand!). Maybe it was the drinks, maybe it was fate... but let's call it fate - since here we are now. The next morning Lupe woke up to a surprise: Gustavo had taken her phone the night before and followed himself on Instagram! His first message? "How's your hang over?" - smooth move, right? Over the next few weeks, Gustavo tried taking Lupe out nearly every day. But Lupe being a mom of two was hesitant - She stopped believing love was meant for her. Still, Gustavo made it clear that he was serious about her and about life - he wasn't looking to play games. Eventually, Lupe said "yes" to a movie date. One date turned into two, calls turned into nightly conversations, and little by little, something real started growing. By late May 2022, during a trip to San Diego, they both realized they were in love - and decided to make it official. It hasn't always been easy, but it's been worth every moment. Since October 2021, Lupe and Gustavo have been inseparable. What they thought might be a honeymoon phase turned out to be something so much deeper - real love, laughter, and partnership. Today, they're engaged, living together, and still not tired of each other (somehow!). Their favorite things include cooking together, Saturday morning coffee dates, wandering around Barnes and Nobles (mostly so Gustavo can grab a book and never read it), and a little good gossip. Most of all they love making memories with their two kids and growing together as a family. Now, they're ready to take the biggest step of all - their SACRED MATRIMONY. La fecha que aparece arriba no es la de nuestra boda, sino la del día en que nos conocimos. ¡Un agradecimiento especial a los muchachos de la corte de honor ("los chicos") por llevar a Gustavo a la fiesta donde empezó todo! Quizás piensen que nos conocimos en un bar, en Tinder o por redes sociales, pero la verdad es que nos conocimos en casa de Lupe (¡que ahora es nuestra casa!). Antes de conocernos, Lupe ya había oído hablar del "ruidoso" del grupo, lo que solo aumentó su curiosidad por conocer a Gustavo. ¡Lo que no esperaba era que le gustara de verdad! Mientras tanto, Gustavo estaba ansioso por descubrir quién era Lupe. Avancemos hasta el 16 de octubre de 2021: Lupe organizó una fiesta de cumpleaños, y ahí empezó todo. En cuanto nos conocimos, conectamos al instante (y para quienes estuvieron allí: ¡gracias, lo presenciaron!). Quizás fueron las copas, quizás fue el destino... pero digamos que fue el destino, porque aquí estamos. A la mañana siguiente, Lupe se despertó con una sorpresa: ¡Gustavo le había quitado el móvil la noche anterior y se había seguido a sí mismo en Instagram! ¿Su primer mensaje? "¿Qué tal la cruda?".¡Qué jugada maestra, ¿verdad?! Durante las siguientes semanas, Gustavo intentó invitar a salir a Lupe casi a diario. Pero Lupe, madre de dos hijos, se mostraba Dudosa; había dejado de creer que el amor fuera para ella. Aun así, Gustavo dejó claro que hablaba en serio sobre ella y sobre la vida; El no quería jugar. Finalmente, Lupe aceptó ir al cine. Una cita se convirtió en dos, las llamadas en conversaciones nocturnas y, poco a poco, algo real empezó a surgir. A finales de mayo de 2022, durante un viaje a San Diego, ambos se dieron cuenta de que estaban enamorados y decidieron formalizar su relación. No siempre ha sido fácil, pero ha valido la pena cada instante. Desde octubre de 2021, Lupe y Gustavo son inseparables. Lo que creían que sería una simple luna de miel se convirtió en algo mucho más profundo: amor verdadero, risas y una verdadera unión. Hoy están comprometidos, viven juntos y, sorprendentemente, ¡todavía no se han cansado el uno del otro! Entre sus cosas favoritas están cocinar juntos, tomar café los sábados por la mañana, pasear por Barnes & Noble (sobre todo para que Gustavo pueda coger un libro y nunca leerlo) y un poco de chisme jugoso. Pero, por encima de todo, les encanta crear recuerdos con sus dos hijos y crecer juntos como familia. Ahora, están listos para dar el paso más importante de todos: su SAGRADO MATRIMONIO.
