Maid of Honor
Sarah and Carly (also known as Mabel and Doris as it would be weird to have young names when we're old ladies) have been besties since year 7 (a breathtaking 24 year ago!!!) When Carly at first didn't like the geek who was into Take That instead of East 17. Thankfully for Sazzle, their shared embarrassment of being in the school band brought them closer together and Carly has been her rock and bestest bestie (not to mention walking memory!) ever since.
Best Man
Lunny and Danny met on the rugby fields of Yorkshire. Their friendship grew and grew like the grass Danny grows on his farm. Play your cards right and you might be treated to Danny's signature drink... Danny-says-relax!
Best Man
Lunny and Mike became friends whilst doing a paper round many years ago. It is clear now that one of the pair had a considerably tougher round than the other. Mike is incredibly talented and is the reigning Driffield Belly Dancing champion
Bridesmaid
Heather and Sarah met in London when they were working on the London Olympics broadcast team. They quickly bonded over a love of wine, rugby and cynicism. Together they discovered many how-to-booze-in-secret hacks, such as nipping to the m&s under the office with a mug to pour a can of g&t into, sometimes riding up and down in the lift until it was finished, just in case, filing Capri sun pouches with rum to smuggle into rugby stadiums and hiding vodka in jelly to take into alsorts of unsuspecting venues.
Bridesmaid
Sarah's sister-in-Laura joined the Bestwick family when she married Dan in 2014. Since then they have turned Sarah into a total Aunt bore, giving her the most gorgeous nephew, Taylor who is almost 3 and beautiful niece Tilly who will be 1 in March. Sarah and Laura share a taste for gin and eating too much chocolate, Laura does not share Sarah and Dan's eagerness to get the Christmas decs up and quizzes at family get togethers (but then nor do many people!)
Groomsman
Sam and Lunny have been friends since secondary school. They played rugby together and have shared many drunken nights. Sam enjoys drinking tequila and looking for bats. You could say he's a real life Batman.
Bridesmaid
Sarah and Elysia met way back in 2004 when they both joined British Eurosport as their first job in telly. They wiled away a lot of time on that Slough industrial estate, eating lunch on the pebbles pretending they were on Brighton beach, walking the streets of Langley and Feltham planning a future that involved both of them moving there to raise their families together and sneakily using the edit suite to catch up on Neighbours. There have been many, many drunken nights & weekends over the years as well as lots of adventures including Sri Lanka where they volunteered as (pretty bad) teachers & Leashy learned to like bananas, driving through deep snow in -47 degrees in Canada, a cheesy holiday to Turkey where Sarah and Carly didn't think she'd make the plane, speed boats in Brid ...
Groomsman
Christopher and Thomas met when Sue brought a screaming bundle of joy home from the hospital. Chris claims one Lunn brother was graced with style, wit, charm and incredible skill on the rugby pitch ... And the other is Thomas, but we'll let you decide for yourself on that ;-)
Groomsman
James and Lunny have always been close friends. Sometimes close enough that their sexuality was questioned.... by Chris' Dad! Luckily the introduction of blonde bombshells into both their lives has quahsed those rumours.
