The North End is famous for its Italian food and feel! It's great for three things: history, food, and....food. Just about anywhere in this neighborhood will be a hit, but fans of cannolis will love Mike's Pastry (cash only), Modern Pastry (cash only, and peep the speakeasy just inside and down the stairs), and Bova's Bakery. Some are 24hrs, so feel free to pop by post-wedding. Tourists and locals love Giacamo's and Neptune Oyster Bar (both cash only and no reservations). Union Oyster House - one of the US's oldest restaurants and home to JFK's favorite booth - has an original Sam Adam's recipe that you can only get here. Cocktails in the North End are abundant, but Ciao Roma and Parla (roll the dice to decide your drink) are especially popular!
For those wanting to see the oldest university in the nation, Harvard Yard is the classic spot to visit and Harvard Square is a beautiful walk with little shops (including Harvard Book Store) and good food. Also try out the Harvard Museum of Natural History - Lucrecia's favorite spot on campus - or any of Harvard's art museums!
The Charles River Esplanade is a 65-acre, 3-mile long scenic park on the Boston side of the Charles River, stretching from the Museum of Science to the Boston University Bridge. It features 5 miles worth of walking and biking paths in popular Back Bay. If the weather is nice, go for a walk or catch a live show at the Hatch Shell.
