Lulu and Landon met through a mutual friend in April of 2021. At the time, Landon was living and working in Texas when Lulu’s friend messaged him on Instagram, trying to set them up. He replied saying it probably wasn’t going to work—he planned to live in Texas full-time, and dating someone in Canada didn’t really make sense. …But five minutes later, he messaged Lulu anyway! They hit it off immediately and spent the next month FaceTiming before finally meeting in person. When Landon flew to Canada, Lulu picked him up from the airport in her Punch Buggy convertible—and it was basically love at first sight. That first weekend included a spontaneous road trip to Sicamous, where Landon got a speeding ticket driving her Bug (typical Landon lol). They did long distance for about a year and a half before Landon moved back to Canada permanently. In 2022, they brought home their dog Norman, and in 2023, they bought their first house together. Now, they’re getting married—and couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with the people who’ve been part of their story all along.
