There is a hidden view outside behind the monastery where you can see the whole city. This is where we got engaged!
There are many sites to see! For lovers of history and beautiful architecture, you can explore the Prague Old Town, Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, and Jewish Quarter. For those who want to see great views of the city, you can hike up to Petřín Tower or to Vyšehrad Castle. For foodies and cosmopolitans, there are many great coffee houses, cukrárna (Czech word for patisserie), bakeries, and restaurants. You can also try the Chimney cake (originally from Romania but super prevalent in Prague now). Below are recommendations (a few of many!): --Good coffee: https://g.co/kgs/wvAKLqz --Good bakery: https://maps.app.goo.gl/yjikCfxzGPaBxB1D8 --Good brunch food restaurant (multiple locations): https://www.srnky.cz/en/ --Great prix-fixe restaurants: https://g.co/kgs/qBGCMUT and https://g.co/kgs/zRR8yFF We recommend trying out the Czech tram! Please note that the tram has the right of way in the city even before pedestrians, so be careful when you cross the road.
This is Lukas's home town! We love it, though there probably isn't much to see for tourists (says Kat). There is a chateau with two large parks and a lot of history for such a small town.
This is the nearby town with our recommended accommodation (Al Capone hotel)!
This is Kat's home town! Also the place where the ceremony will happen :)
If you have an extra day or two, we suggest that you visit this beautiful historic town a few hours. It's about two hours from Prague by car but there are also frequent direct bus connections (FlixBus, 2h30m-3h30m) and six daily direct trains (3h30m).
