As many of you know, Ritu (Didi) was often tasked with babysitting, feeding, driving, and taking care of Reema throughout their childhoods. As they have gotten older, Didi has become Reema’s mentor, bestie, and confidante. Being the oldest sibling is a pretty difficult task, but there’s really no one who does it as well Didi. This life would not be the same without Reema’s sisters.

Sam Costanzo

Best Man

As Luke's older brother Sam usually beat Luke in a lot of different areas. Whether it was sports, board/video games, or school GPA, Sam usually was slightly better than Luke. While Luke is still a little upset he always lost to Sam growing up, Luke appreciates Sam's continued persistence and drive as Luke always has and always will want to be as good as his older brother.

Ruchi is the one person who taught Reema to make the most of life and to simply enjoy it to the fullest. Her fun-loving nature and absolutely contagious laugh has not only made Reema feel like the funniest person in the world, but has made them closer as best friends. Life is challenging, but with a sister like Ruchi, every hurdle seems pretty mild. Life is great because Reema has Ruchi as a big sis.

As Reema's oldest brother-in-law Sam had the most advice to offer Luke on how to navigate the Nagpal family. Luke definitely appreciated all the guidance Sam was able to provide, but as the two have gotten closer Sam is now much more than just an older brother-in-law; he is a true friend.

Gia Shah

Gia is Reema’s beautiful and talented niece. While Gia is 17 years younger than her Reema Maasi, Reema often feels like she is talking to a mature adult. Gia’s dreams and her heart are so big that Reema often feels she has a lot to learn from Gia. Reema hopes to be regarded as Gia’s “cool Maasi” as Gia accomplishes every single goal and dream she has throughout life.

Chandra Deolal

As the most recent husband to join the Nagpal family, Chandra hoped to prod and poke Luke as Sam did to C. But fortunately for Luke, C was too nice of a guy to give Luke a hard time. C quickly became one of Luke's best friends in Chicago as Luke not only enjoys meeting up with C for a cold brew, but Luke also loves playing with C's son Ayush.

Lauren Largent

Lauren and Reema grew closer after college was over. To be exact, Lauren’s husband Devin and Luke were close friends and introduced Reema and Lauren to one another. Soon, Lauren and Reema became close as they tackled the Columbus restaurant, wine, and candle scene (Lauren also thought Reema was hilarious). Lauren truly has a heart of gold and Reema is grateful to have Lauren as her friend.

Devin was the college roommate who bared the brunt of the difficulty balancing bro-time and a relationship. Luke was not only able to learn from Devin’s trials and tribulations, but after graduating the two remained close through continued bro-time and double-dates.

Katie Amys

Katie and Reema met and became good friends in graduate school at Northwestern. Katie’s humor, light heartedness, and general hatred for anyone who “overstudied” reeled Reema in and the two have been inseparable ever since. Katie’s kindness is simply unparalleled and her love for sports makes Reema feel like she doesn’t really know anything about sports besides one thing: how much she hates the Golden State Warriors.

Colton was the friend Luke could always turn to for companionship during any long treks in college. They both maintain the willingness to travel to this day, and while their travels now are mostly without one another, that passion formed together in college will stay with them forever.

Reema and Tia grew up on the same street in Strongsville. They went to the same middle school, high school, and were roommates at The Ohio State University. Though Reema now lives in Chicago and Tia lives in Cleveland, no distance will stop them from long phone chats, binging on Taco Bell when they’re together, and calming each other on the worst of days.

Luke met David his freshman year of college while attending Ohio State University. Throughout college and to this day, Luke considers David a certified expert in friendship as you can frequently catch him enjoying an episode of the classic sitcom ’Friends’.

Molly Heister

Reema and Molly became friends while studying abroad in France in college. Molly was a bit of a wild child and was drawn to Reema’s wisdom and maturity as the two navigated the European continent, boy troubles, and job searches together. To this day, Molly is Reema’s confidante and partner in crime.

Josh Brown

Surviving some of the worst marketing classes at Ohio State would not have been possible for Luke, had it not been for Josh’s presence and sense of humor. Josh also ensured everyone had a good time outside the classroom by making sure the gang stuck together through thick and thin; frequently leveraging his handmade work of art.

Pooja Mude

Reema and Pooja became besties in high school when they both interned at NASA in Cleveland, Ohio (nerds). Well, actually, Pooja’s Dad was the reason for their close friendship as he had asked Reema to drive his daughter to work…every single day. After 6 years of friendship, Pooja’s Dad is no longer orchestrating their hangouts but Pooja remains to be the bubbliest and funny girl that Reema has always loved.

Kyle Duffy

Luke and Kyle were very close all throughout grade school and high school. Initially sadness soon turned into excitement as Kyle’s decision to go to Miami University provided opportunities to plan road-trips, so both could reunite and explore one another's new habitat.

Disha and Reema are cousins and have grown closer as they have gotten older. Gossiping about family, drinking wine, and watching standup comedy are some of their favorite pastimes. Life has a way of putting distance between the ones we love, but family truly is forever and Reema is grateful to have a cousin like Dish Mish.

Matt has been a close friend since childhood and has always looked out for Luke. Whether it was as kids messing around on the walk home from the bus stop, or during a road trip to Happy Valley for an OSU football game, Matt's always had Luke's back.

Jessica Gardenhire

Jessica and Reema met and became close in high school (good ole Strongsville High). As the only two non-white people at Strongsville (okay fine…one of 5), Jessica and Reema instantly bonded. Life has taken the two to different places but there is one thing that has always kept them close: Jessica’s sensational personality. Reema is thrilled to have Jessica be a part of her special day.

Nolan Salazar

Nolan has been a Triple Threat friend for Luke. A great high-school friend who joined Luke at Ohio State. While they technically lived apart in college, each was a frequent visitor to the other's residence at Ohio State. More recently, as a die-hard Cubs fan, Nolan often makes trips to see Luke in Chicago...when he's not at the Cubs games.
