We kindly ask that you RSVP by 07/08/26. Can't wait to see you there!
Due to space limitations, we’re only able to accommodate guests listed on the invitation. If your invitation includes a guest, it will be noted on your RSVP. Thank you for understanding!
While we absolutely love your little ones, our Welcome Event and Wedding Celebration will be adults-only events. We hope this gives everyone a chance to relax, enjoy the evening, and celebrate with us.
Our celebration will be held inside the Culver Hotel, with access to an outdoor terrace for guests who would like to step outside and enjoy the evening air. August evenings in Los Angeles are usually warm and beautiful, though we recommend bringing a light layer for added comfort later in the night.
August in Los Angeles is typically warm and sunny during the day with comfortable evenings. Temperatures cool off throughout the night, so we recommend light layers and comfortable shoes.
Our wedding vibe is Summer Garden Dinner Party. We know themes can sometimes feel a little tricky to interpret, so here are a few ideas to help set the tone. Think of it as your summer Greek or Italian getaway dinner outfit — linen pants, flowy dresses, slip skirts, sandals, loafers, and light, breezy fabrics. But most importantly, we want you to feel comfortable and confident, so please come dressed in whatever makes you feel your best while celebrating with us.
No formal ceremony at this event! Luke and Sara will have already had a small courthouse ceremony in May with immediate family. This celebration is all about gathering with our extended friends and family to eat, drink, dance, and celebrate together. We’re so excited to bring everyone together for a joyful evening of love and community.
Absolutely! Please let us know when you RSVP if you have any allergies, dietary restrictions, or preferences. We want all our guests to feel comfortable—and of course, enjoy every bite of the delicious food and drinks we’ve planned.
Friday | Welcome Party (Stanley's): There are multiple parking and street parking in the area. We recommend using the Culver Parking Garage, just a block away, located between Washington and Venice (3844 Watseka Ave, Culver City, CA 90232). One-hour free parking, $1 for every 30 minutes after that. Street parking is available, but may be limited. Saturday | Reception Venue (Culver Hotel): We recommend the parking garage located just a few blocks away at 3840 Watseka Ave (the same garage recommended for the Welcome Event). Additional parking is available at the Culver Steps, with rates of $12 for the first hour and $1 for each additional hour thereafter. Rideshares are highly encouraged!
We won’t have transportation arranged from the airport or hotels, so we highly suggest rideshare, carpooling, or hopping in with a friend or family member who has a car. This way everyone can get around safely and easily—and maybe even sing along to a road-trip playlist since we know how LA traffic can be!
Stanley’s Wet Goods: Less than 10 miles from LAX. Culver Hotel: Just over 11 miles from the airport. Both are super convenient if you’re flying in, so grab an Uber, Lyft, or a rental and you’ll be at the party in no time!
Your presence at our celebration is truly the greatest gift, and we’re so grateful you’ll be there to celebrate with us. That said, for those who have asked, we do have a small curated registry if you’d like to browse, as well as a cash fund if you prefer to contribute that way. Please know that your love and support mean the most to us!
While we don’t have hotel room blocks available at this time, we’ve put together a list of nearby hotels across a variety of price ranges to help make planning your stay easier. There are also many great options on Airbnb in the Culver City and Westside areas if you prefer a more home-like stay. We recommend booking accommodations early, as summer is a popular time to visit Los Angeles.
For easy access to both events, we recommend Culver City, Venice, Mid-City, West Hollywood, and Beverly Hills. Plenty of hotel and Airbnb options in these areas, plus fun spots to explore while you’re in town!
None at all! Come as you are—whether that’s dressed up from the day, in your favorite casual outfit, or somewhere in between. This is a relaxed, open-house style evening meant for mingling, grabbing a drink, and saying hello. Stay as long as you’d like and make yourself at home!
Yes, please do! We will not have a traditional wedding photographer, and instead we’ll be using a shared wedding photo app. When you arrive, you’ll see a QR code that you can scan to easily upload and share your photos in a shared album. As many of you may know, Sara is a bit photo shy, so we thought this would be a fun, interactive, and relaxed way for everyone to help capture moments from the day. We can’t wait to see the celebration through all of your eyes!
We’re going for an unplugged celebration! We kindly ask that you hold off on posting photos online, so we can all stay present and enjoy the moment together. Don’t worry—you’ll still get to share your photos—we’ll have a shared wedding album via QR code for everyone to contribute.
Yes! There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout the evening, and non-alcoholic options will also be available. Please celebrate responsibly and consider using a rideshare if you plan to partake. Cheers to a great night together!
If there’s something we may have missed, please don’t hesitate to reach out! Sara and Luke are both reachable by phone or email and would be delighted to help with any questions leading up to the celebration. We’re looking forward to celebrating with you!
