We wanted to get married on our ten year anniversary of dating! After so long together, we really wanted to keep the same date as it is super significant to us. We also thought it might be convenient for people who already have off work for the holiday weekend, but we totally understand if you are not able to attend due to holiday plans.
Please RSVP as immediately as possible, as the sooner we have a solid guest count, the easier it is to plan for. Please do not RSVP any later than June 5th. If you previously RSVP'd that you are attending, but something has come up and you cannot make it, please update your RSVP online or reach out to let us know.
Please arrive no earlier than 5:30pm and no later than 5:50pm in order to have time to be seated. We do plan to start the ceremony precisely at 6pm.
Yes! Free onsite parking will be provided in a gravel lot. If you plan to drink please consider ubering or finding street parking nearby as you will not be able to leave your car in the venue's lot overnight, and we want all of our guests to have fun and stay safe.
Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors and air conditioned at our venue, the Piedmont Room, which is located in Piedmont Park with a view of the city. After the ceremony, guests will move into the front foyer of the venue for cocktail hour while the staff flip the space for the reception.
Yes, please dress in formal evening attire. If more direction is helpful to you, we suggest wearing any shade of blues, purples, neutrals, or metallics to align with the celestial theme. If you have any star, moon, or space themed accessories we encourage you to wear them!
No, unfortunately an open bar is unrealistic to our budget. Each guest who indicates so on their RSVP will receive drink tickets for the night. There will be beer, wine, and well liquor for guests to use their tickets on. Once all drink tickets have been used, drinks will be available for individual purchase. Soft drinks and water will also be served to all guests.
We will have a southern style buffet with fried chicken, braised beef short ribs, mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, vegetables, and salad. There will be passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, and a traditional style wedding cake.
Yes, please reach out and let us know any special requests or allergies you may have! Safety comes first and we will do our best to accommodate your need.
Please do not bring a plus one unless specified on your invitation. Only those named on your invitation are welcomed to attend.
Please do not bring any kids unless specified on your invitation. The only children attending are those who have been asked to participate in specific roles during our wedding day. This is an adult event and no accommodations for children have been planned. We understand that making childcare arrangements can be a burden, but hope that this can be a fun date night out for parents!
Yes! We are excited to celebrate at the wedding and keep the party going into the night. More details will be provided about the after party closer to the event date, but if late night celebrations are your thing, please plan on coming through to the after party!
We are registered exclusively on Zola, meaning we can pick out things from different stores and it will all appear in our Zola registry.
A contribution to our honeymoon fund is by far our most wanted gift! Second most wanted would be a card with a handwritten message; Olivia keeps pretty much any card she’s ever received and it would be very special to have a collection of those from our big day. We are grateful for anything we receive and appreciate you even wanting to get us anything. We are fully aware of the current economic climate and of how expensive it can be just to attend a wedding these days. Please do not feel obligated to gift us anything but your presence!
