Downtown San José del Cabo
There are lots of great authentic restaurants and shops in the downtown area, and only a 5-minute uber away from the hotel zone! The area is very colorful and lively as it is an art gallery district. Cabo San Lucas
You can take a 40 minute drive south down the coast and go check out Cabo San Lucas! There is plenty of restaurants, activities, boat rentals, excursions to check out. A few restaurant recommendations in this area: Rooftop 360 The Office SUR Beach House Baja Cantina
Swimmable Beaches in Cabo
Not all beaches are considered swimmable in Cabo due to stronger waves in the area and having a larger presence of rip currents. You can go down to the water and walk around close to shore but wouldn't recommend swimming in most areas. However, they do have designated areas that you can swim and surf in!
