What is the shuttle schedule for the wedding?

Answer

Shuttles will be provided from The Shire Hotel in Woodstock, VT, to and from the wedding. If you are not staying at one of these hotels but would like to utilize the shuttles, please do so! Parking is available at OQ Farm if you prefer to drive a personal vehicle. The OQ Farm parking location is ¼ mile walk from the ceremony site (there will be a closer drop-off location for anyone with mobility impairment). SHUTTLE DEPARTURE: The Shire Hotel shuttle will depart promptly at 3:55 PM. Please be ready at The Shire Hotel main entrance at 46 Pleasant St, Woodstock, 5-10 minutes before the 3:55 PM departure. There is only one shuttle, so don't be late! SHUTTLE RETURN: All shuttles will be available to return guests to The Shire at 11:00 pm. There will be an early shuttle at 9:30 pm. If you attend the after-party at the farm, a shuttle will be provided to take guests back to The Shire Hotel. The shuttle will depart from the after-party at Midnight, 12:30 a.m., and 1:00 a.m.

Are children invited?

Saturday's ceremony and reception will be adult-only, but kids will be welcome at the bonfire Friday and at brunch Sunday! Helpful tip: The Woodstock Inn offers babysitters if you are a guest with them.

Indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held outdoors and under a tent. The ground is grass, so please choose your footwear accordingly!

Ubers/Local Transportation?

Answer

There are no Uber/Lyft/taxi services nearby. We will provide shuttles on Saturday between the venue and The Shire Hotel in Woodstock. Parking is also available onsite at OQ Farm. Please remember that the OQ Farm parking area is about a 1/4 mile walk up the driveway to the ceremony and reception site. If you would prefer to make arrangements with a local transportation service over renting a vehicle, consider VT VIP Services or VT First Class Ride.
