Located about 15 minutes from our venue, the Whaleback Inn is situated on a hill overlooking North Lake Leelanau. Among the five wooded acres are fourteen well appointed lake-view rooms, a free standing cottage and three cottage suites as well as two docks for your swimming and boating enjoyment.

There are many Vrbos (www.vrbo.com) in the area, this is the high season and properties book up quite early! There are Airbnbs (www.airbnb.com) available as well, but likely a smaller selection. We recommend looking for lodging in Leland, Lake Leelanau, Suttons Bay, or Northport areas.

Ridesharing is not readily available in Northern Michigan, so we highly recommend renting a car or pre-booking a taxi service from the airport if you are flying.
Flight
If you plan to fly, we recommend flying into the Cherry Capital Airport in Traverse City, MI, which accommodates most major airline carriers including Delta, American, United, and Allegiant. This is the closest airport to our wedding venue. You will not be able to taxi or Uber from the airport unless pre-scheduled, so we highly recommend you rent a car or pre-book a taxi.
