The Saffell family has 65+ years of history in Leland! After graduating from Michigan, Luke and Emma spent lots of time there together and decided it would be the perfect spot between California and New Jersey for friends and family to meet.
Average temperatures in August range from a high of 80° to a low of 65°. It can be a little chilly in the evenings once the sun has set, you may want a jacket.
Our wedding day will be both outdoor and indoor.
The dress code for our wedding day is formal/black tie optional. Note, parts of our day will be outdoors on grass/gravel. Please keep this in mind when selecting your footwear.
While we love children, our wedding will be an adults-only event to give everyone a chance to relax and enjoy a night out. If you plan to travel with your children, we recommend reserving local babysitting services through www.Care.com. Thank you for your understanding!
If your invitation says "and Guest" or a date is named, then yes. If not, we unfortunately cannot accommodate a plus one.

Ride apps are not readily available in Northern Michigan, so we highly recommend renting a car or pre-booking a taxi service from the airport if you are flying.
