FAQs

Any additional questions or issues with RSVPing can be emailed or text to Edie.
Question

Natural area guidelines

Answer

The Environmental Discovery Center is on a natural area and should be kept exactly the way we found it before the party started. Please properly dispose of any trash in a trash receptacle (available inside the hall and on the balcony), including cigarette butts, cigars, joints, etc. There will not be any loose flower petals, leaves or confetti allowed during or after the ceremony.

Question

Attire

Answer

We will be dressed up, but please wear what makes you feel your best. We love each one of you and the fashion sense that comes along with!

Question

Parking + Transportation

Answer

There is parking right next to the event. The parking lot is limited so we encourage car pooling if possible. There will also be a 16 person party bus available to guests between 8pm-11pm if you are staying at one of the hotel blocks or nearby at an airbnb. We ask that you group up for rides back as much as possible. More details to follow the night of.

Question

+1 & children

Answer

Due to the limited capacity of the venue, unfortunately not all guests were offered a +1. Invites will be written out to you and a guest if we do have space reserved for your date. We may have seats open up as RSVPs begin to come in, so please let Edie know if you would request for a +1 invite. While we love all of your children; this event is meant for the adults in our lives. We hope you understand that only a few select children are being invited, and that we ask for the rest of our guests to please make arrangements ahead of time to leave your kids at home.

Question

Edie's dress

Answer

I picked my dress up from a special bridal shop called, The Brides Project in Ann Arbor, MI. " The mission of TBP is to support adults and kids impacted by cancer by ensuring sustainable funding to the Cancer Support Community of Greater Ann Arbor, and to provide brides with a socially-conscious, eco- and budget-friendly option for purchasing their wedding gowns" If you want to find out more information please visit http://www.thebridesproject.org/ https://www.cancersupportannarbor.org/
