We are glad you asked! St Peter Catholic Church is 6/10ths of a mile from the DoubleTree Hilton Downtown with most restaurants and bars in between. Downtown Canton has plenty to do and see - head to our "Things To Do" tab for more details! The reception is 5.5 miles from the hotel.
There will be a shuttle taking groups from the hotel to the reception (leaving at 4:35, 5:00, & third pickup if needed). We encourage you to either carpool as a group or utilize the shuttle on-schedule. *Please note* There is NO shuttle to get to the ceremony, but the church is within walking distance from the hotel if need be.
The ceremony will be indoors at St Peter Catholic Church and the reception is technically outdoors (with a covered pavilion & heaters). You will have full access to explore the beautiful outdoor area at Gervasi Vinyard, and we will make sure to provide extra heaters and blankets inside the pavilion as weather permits.
We respectfully ask that the attire be formal or black-tie. For men, this may include a suit and tie or tuxedo. For women, this may include a tea-length or floor-length dress or gown. If you wear jorts or anything Ohio State, you will be asked to leave.
