About 53 min from Shafer MN, Around 20 min from MSP Airport. Too many fun things to do, we love the breweries! Some of our favorites are Surly, Pyres, Indeed Brewing plus about 50 others. Believe it or not, we do more than drink beer; we also love the MIA (Minneapolis Institute of Art) which has an incredible display of art and ancient artifacts from around the world, plus it's FREE! Stone Arch Bridge, Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, There is also the Mall of America.

Saint Paul

About 44 min from Shafer MN. If you like breweries there are plenty, some of our favorites are St. Paul Brewing (cool historic building with a great patio), Bad Weather Brewing, Black Stack Brewing, Lake Monster Brewing. Non alcohol things to do include, CanCan Wonderland (unique putt/putt, arcade place), Science Museum, Como Park Zoo, Minnehaha Falls.
