Where is the Venue located?

Answer

The Ceremony and Reception will both be located at Bloom Lake Barn in Shafer, MN, which is about 50 minutes north of the Twin Cities. The address is 17147 Bloom Lake RD, Shafer, MN 55074. There is ample parking available.

Will the ceremony be outside?

Answer

Depending on the weather, we hope the ceremony will be outside. If by chance it rains the ceremony will be held indoors. October in Minnesota can be cold or warm, please look ahead and dress accordingly! The Reception will be indoors and the Barn is heated and Air conditioned.

Is there transportation to the venue available?

Answer

Yes we will have shuttles from Amerivu Inn and Suites (In Chisago City) to the Venue and back. We will update this with times once everything is finalized. If you are arriving from the airport, we would recommend renting a car.

If I party too hard, can I leave my vehicle at the venue?

Answer

Yes, your vehicle must be picked up by 9am the next morning

Are Ubers or Lyfts in the area?

Answer

Unfortunately, there are likely no Ubers or Lyfts in the area, but we will have a shuttle to Amerivu Inn and Suites to and from the venue

Is the Venue Wheel Chair Accessible?

Yes Bloom Lake Barn accommodates for wheel chairs

Are Children Allowed?

While we do love your kiddos, you deserve a night out! We appreciate your understanding for an adult-only wedding.

Please RSVP at least 1 month prior to the wedding 9/18/25

What should I wear?

Answer

Dress code is Semi- Formal (no jeans), men are encouraged to wear a suit or blazer.

Will it be an open bar?

Answer

Of course, have you met us?! We do have a shuttle to and from Amerivu Inn and Suites in Chisago, but plan accordingly

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We will be having a buffet, with a variety of options, there will be vegan/vegetarian options available

Can we take pictures at your wedding?

Answer
