GUATEMALA CITY AIRPORT (GUA)

GUA International airport is about 1,5 hours away from Antigua (depending on traffic). If you reserved the shuttle service, you will be picked up as a member of our wedding group upon arrival in Guatemala city. Also, many hotels and hostels offer a shuttle service, so be sure to inquire about that before spending any extra cash on the hired shuttle.

This is a beautiful hotel and museum built around a colonial ruins. This hotel has pools, jacuzzi, spa (massage etc), restaurants and some of the most beautiful gardens and courtyards. It is of the more upscale options in antigua; cost is closer to a typical Belgian hotel. Hotel Casa Santo Domingo is about a 3 minute tuc tuc ride from the reception & ceremony venue.

This is a beautiful hotel where the bride and groom will be rooming throughout the week. The cost is lower than average european prices, and it's a gorgeous resort with lots of amenities, including spa, pools, jacuzzi, gardens, restaurants, playground, and even Spanish speaking parrots! This is a beautiful little hotel that we love near to the central park. This hotel has some multi bed rooms for people who have children or want to share a room. They do have a pool, sauna and a restaurant. Cost should be around €75 a night, for two people. I'd recommend checking these hotels on booking.com, where you can get a look at some additional pictures and guest reviews.

Top location meters away from central park. Rooms with private bathroom and shower, hairdryer and toiletries. You can enjoy a garden view from most rooms. You will find 24h front desk, a garden and a terrace. Breakfast is also offered for a small fee.

This is a nice hotel, with airport shuttle and larger rooms. The cost is around €50 per night for two people. The location is great...just a few blocks away from the ceremony venue. This is an excelent located hostel offers 6 private rooms and 1 large dormitory room. The private rooms range from either 1 double bed or 1 double bed and 1 single bed to 3 separate beds in them. Tuc - Tuc's

If you want to move around like the locals do, flag down a tuc-tuc anywhere. They are not allowed to enter central park but they drive elsewhere. Have some small cash at hand (no credit card) and expect to pay around €2 for a maximum 3 people drive around town.
