Who would've thought that Luis and Alan would would stay great friends since 6th grade - never mind, grow up to one day be in each other's wedding! When Luis and Alan decided to be roommates when they first attended Texas A&M, it wasn't clear what life would be like as college students. But they went on to study engineering and spend the next 4 years doing life together - with a few FIFA game nights every once in a while during the weekends. But one thing Luis grew to appreciate more than anything about Alan was his companionship. There are few friends in the world like Alan, who like the Bible talks about, "...stay closer than a brother". And, it is because of his great friendship that Luis is honored to name Alan as his Best Man.

Rhema Agyeman

You know how it is said that opposites attract? That was the case for Alyssa and Rhema. Alyssa has a very outgoing personality and Rhema is on the more reserved side but that did not stop these two to create a bond that will last for a lifetime. They met their freshman year at Texas A&M in a math course then later they found out that they both lived same residents hall and by the following year they became roommates till Alyssa graduated. So many stories, lessons and laughter come from these two being best friends since '15.

Has there ever been a better brother in the world than Miguel? The clear answer...doggos and tacos. Just kidding, he is. Miguel is known to be the kind of brother that likes to tag along and enjoys a good movie. He loves space and is probably the 2nd best Call of Duty player after his amazing brother, Luis. But the best part about Miguel is that he's the most easy-going person you'll meet. He rarely complains and is all about keeping the peace. And because he's been the best brother of all time, it only makes sense that he also becomes the dog handler of Luke.

Calista Rodriguez

Calista has been by Alyssa's side since 2001. She is the type of person who can make Alyssa laugh anywhere at any time. Growing up she would spend almost every Saturday nights over so they could attend Sunday service as well as Nikki (of course no sleeping happened on Saturday nights only lots of laughs). A common thing Calista and Alyssa share was that growing up was that their dads didn't allow them to cut their hair until we were 15 years old so we both understood the annoyance when people would come up and start touching their hair asking if it was real...

Kenneth Carranza

The first time Luis met Kenneth was on Alan's Ring Day. It wasn't too long after that that Luis got his haircut with Kenneth and one of his ever-popular fades. Ever since then, not only did Kenneth become Luis' barber, but one of his close friends. An exceptional conversationalist, Kenneth always has a knack for good conversations while quite literally cutting Luis' hair close to perfection. A Godly man, Kenneth's passion and love for Jesus is undeniable. He loves people well and represents God in everything he does.

Dominique Aramburo

Dominique and Alyssa are only 341 days apart yet growing up Alyssa believed that she was always older because her birthday came before Dominique's... eventually Alyssa figured it wasn't the date in the month but the year we were born determined who was older. Dominique is the sister Alyssa never had they played with Barbies and Bratz together, danced together, even comforted each other with heartbreaks down the road and celebrate each other's accomplishments.

Anthony Ibarrola

A friendship spanning almost two decades long, Luis met Anthony when they were little kids while playing in the same soccer league. Luis likes to say that he was better than him and completely made Anthony look like trash, but because he's a good Christian, he stays humble and let's Anthony win...sometimes. But in all seriousness, Anthony became one of Luis' best friends growing up. They would visit each other's home on the weekends and spend time playing foosball, playing outdoors, and trading Marvel and DC comic cards, which Anthony later sold them a few years later (boo!) not knowing how valuable they would become...but we'll leave that for another day. So, if there's anything Anthony has been in Luis' life, it's a trustworthy person. A dependable guy and truly a "bro" fo' life!

Taylor Barnes

Taylor and Alyssa have been friends for 11 years!! It all started when Alyssa started school in Cleveland, Tx. Mr. Barnes (Taylor's dad) introduced the two girls in 8th grade and been best friends ever since. They were inseparable in high school, they were in the same classes and on the cheer and drill team together. Everyone knew where one of the girls were the other was sure to be by her side. Beyond grateful for this friendship that has grown just like the two girls have!

Joseph Valencia

Wow, I mean where can you start with Joseph...the guy is literally perfect! What's not to say about the guy - he's a great classmate, friend, husband, son, and most important, a brother in Christ. Luis and Joseph met at Texas A&M in the Zachry Leadership Program their 2nd year in college. They were both studying engineering and interacted quite frequently in class, during pre-semester retreats, and eventually, in their own time when they weren't studying away. It always stood out to Luis how sincere, genuine, and thoughtful Joseph carried himself. He always had a way to make others feel better about themselves and bring joy to any environment. And it's precisely for those qualities that Luis knew Joseph would be the ideal friend to ask to stand next to him on his most Special Day.

Carolina Guzman

Carolina was Alyssa's first friend and roommate when entering college. Together they learned what it looked and meant to live life on their own. Carolina is also an educator so whenever Alyssa catches up with Carolina they both get to share stories from our students within the classroom and help one another manage what teaching looks like now a days.

Roger Simon

Anyone who knows Roger, knows one amazing thing about him - he's a guy worth looking up to (literally). If you can imagine a highly intelligent, down to earth, and one of the coolest person, it would be him. Roger is the kind of guy who won't make you feel dumb, less than, or even badly about yourself. His drive and motivation are equally as inspiring. They met their 2nd year in the Zachry Leadership Program (like with Joseph) and over time, built a friendship on vulnerability and inspiring each other. As Roger can tell you, he and Luis had several, late night talks on everything life related, including the topic of Love. Now, looking back, those conversations served as motivation to stay the course and never lose sight of God's promises.

Elvira Campos

Alyssa met Elvira during her Sophomore year of college and both connected through their love for JESUS and TEACHING! Every time they are around each other you will see them laughing till they cry (happy cry of course). In college, Elvira and Alyssa were in the same Homegroup and everyone knew that when Elvira and Alyssa were sitting together they couldn't stop laughing and bringing joy to everyone around them. When you are around Elvira definitely expect to feel loved, cared for and tons and tons of laughter.
