We know everyone's schedule is different. We will be in the area for the week leading up to the wedding (hopefully arriving sometime between Jan 31 and Feb 2, and leaving around the 10th or later - TBD) - feel free to come and hang out with us! We would recommend arriving at least a day before the wedding. We're just happy if you can come celebrate with us!
Tropical and Festive! We hope to see lots of bright colors and fun outfits. It's intentionally a bit vague -come dressed to have fun and dance :) The venue is on the beach, so be prepared for sand - sandals, shorts and skirts are all welcome. Expect highs of around 80F during the day and lows around 60F at night, so a light jacket or sweater for the evening may be smart. Feel free to wear something loud and funky; be creative and comfortable! Ladies ideas - Tropical, beach, and festive style dresses or party wear (jumpers, bell bottoms, tops with skirts or shorts, etc.). Fellas ideas - Tops: Hawaiian style shirts, tropical or lightweight button ups, guayaberas, etc. Bottoms: lightweight dress or party pants, khakis or khaki shorts are fine. Jackets and/or ties optional for those who want to dress up a bit more.
Cancun (CUN) is likely your best bet. It's about half an hour from the venue/ Puerto Morelos, and about an hour from Playa del Carmen. Tulum (TQO) is another option - it's brand new, and has limited flights. Tickets are likely more expensive, and it's about 2 hours drive from Puerto Morelos. However, Tulum has it's own character and sights if you choose to stay there for a few nights.
Expect highs in the low to mid 80's during the day and lows in the mid to upper 60s at night.
Yes, we are providing roundtrip transportation from a point in Puerto Morelos/Playa del Carmen to the reception/ceremony venue.
Yes, of course! Kids are welcome for the ceremony and reception. The wedding venue is near the ocean, so we ask kindly to please supervise your kids at all times.
