We’re getting married!

On a random Friday night out with friends in May of 2019, they stumbled upon each other while at a Downtown Rochester bar, Murphy’s Law. Matt was standing at the bar with his best friend Justin, and could not take his eyes off Riley across the room. With a little encouragement from Justin, he finally got the nerve to go up to her, but it took not one but two tries for her to give in. From there, it was love at first sight. The first night they met, Matt couldn’t stop talking about how excited he was for her to meet his Nonno. They started to hang out more frequently and even took their first trip out of state together only 10 months into knowing each other. While on this trip to Matt’s “second home”, Fort Lauderdale, FL, the COVID-19 pandemic hit, and they were forced to stay in the hotel for a week straight together. If that did not test their relationship, nothing else would. Shortly after this trip, Riley moved in with Matt - just weeks after saying to each other, “I’d never live with you,” while trapped in a hotel room with each other (LOL)! The rest is history. They have stuck by each other's side through thick and thin, happy times and sad times, Bills loss after Bills loss! They are best friends who were meant to be, and their love for each other grows stronger as time passes. Matt took Riley by complete surprise when he proposed to her at the 2024 Buffalo Bill's season opener in front of all their family! The time has finally come for them to get married, and they can’t wait to celebrate their love while surrounded by their favorite people.
