Central BBQ is right next to the Civil Rights Museum and you can sit outside.
Some say best BBQ in Memphis.
The museum is located at the Lorraine Motel, the site of the assassination of MLK, Jr, who was visiting Memphis in support of striking African-American city sanitation workers at the time. Memphis's history is full of conflict and tragedy. The museum does a great job of telling the story and imbuing hope.
A touristy hilarious must do if you're hanging out in Memphis. Walk down the street and end at Tommy Lee Park on the Mississippi River.
Speaks for itself.
Home of William Faulkner. If you go to Oxford, visit Square Books and eat at City Grocery.
Great dive bar downtown.
Great friend, 5th generation Como farmer, and rehearsal dinner beef supplier!
Great view of the Mississippi River.
